Where we stayed
We stayed at Club Del Sol, Puerto Pollensa in Majorca. Puerto Pollensa is fantastic for families with a beautiful harbour, bustling with great bars and restaurants and play areas on the beaches for little ones. The hotel was a 5 minute taxi/ bus into Puerto Pollensa and the resort itself has everything you need- multiple pools, kids club, bars, a mini market store and a playground. We would definitely go there again.
What we did
We mostly stayed at the hotel during the days. Our toddler got involved in kids club activities, (she’s 2 so we couldn’t leave her there but we were able to take her and stay with her during activities) such as pizza making, pony rides, pirate hat making… the list goes on. We only did one boat trip to Formentor which was beautiful but it was a bit much with a toddler. Would definitely recommend with slightly older kids. In the evenings we went into Puerto Pollensa for dinner and little one loved playing on the beaches with the adults taking it in turns to sip cocktails or sit with her while she played.
Where we ate and drank
All of the restaurants we tried in Puerto Pollensa were excellent, with Stay restaurant being a highlight- right on the harbour! We also ate at the all inclusive restaurant which had fantastic choices. We didn’t opt for all inclusive but you could pay for meals in the restaurant at reception on the day.
What it cost
We found the holiday itself really reasonable. The hotel was 4 star + and was under £1000pp self catering for the week including flights and transfers and our toddler was free with the Jet2 package. Over there, food and drinks were again reasonable, with my husband finding pints at £3.90 very cheap!
The verdict
We would definitely go back and we’ve already started looking at it for next year!
