Who runs this site
TravelPen is a personal project, run by one person from the United Kingdom. It is not a company, and at present it is not a business: there are no ads, no sponsored posts, no affiliate links and no paid placements, so there is no registered entity, company number or VAT registration behind it.

Content on this site
Stories and guides are written by the travellers credited on each page. Contributors retain ownership of what they submit, under the licence set out in the Terms of Service. If something on this site is yours and should not be here, email the address above and it will be taken down while the claim is checked.
Data and cookies
What gets collected and why is set out in the Privacy Policy. Analytics is optional and off unless you accept it; you can change that at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer.
Reporting a security issue
Security reports are welcome and will not be met with legal threats. Email admin@travelpen.io with enough detail to reproduce the issue. Machine-readable contact details are at /.well-known/security.txt.
