We stayed just south of Inverness the night before we started our Road trip in a place called Boat of Garten.
We stayed in the Boat Guesthouse which we booked through Air B&B. It was basic but cheap, clean and the breakfast was amazing. We ate at the Boat Hotel which was 5 minutes walk away. Food was good and reasonably priced.
