We spent seven days at the Marvell Club Hotel in September 2026, two adults and our 5 year old daughter. It was our first summer holiday together. We booked through TUI and it cost around £1,600.

The room

We had a large room with a door separating the lounge and kitchen area from the bedroom, which made a big difference with a little one.

The pool and hotel

The pool was lovely and clean, and the water was the right depth for young children. We spent a lot of our time in the pool and on the slides. The whole hotel was spotless.

Food

Dinner was brilliant, with a wide variety to choose from. The fresh fish on some days was gorgeous, and there was always plenty of choice.

The area with kids

You can walk most places, or taxis and Ubers are easy to get. There isn't a massive amount to do right on the doorstep, but my daughter preferred being by the pool anyway. We had two rainy days, and a small indoor soft play room would have been great for those.

Best bits

Kumharas, a five minute walk down the road, has beautiful views. The beach at Port des Torrent has the most beautiful crystal clear water, and we often walked down there.

Would we go back?

Yes, we'd go back, and I'd recommend it to everyone: families, couples, older couples, all sorts.

A note for SEN families

My daughter has SEN, and the hotel was great for her needs. The staff held no judgement at all. There was an incident as soon as we arrived and the reception staff didn't even bat an eyelid.

There's one small, quiet pool with two slides, which was perfect for her because it wasn't overstimulating. The hotel was nice and quiet too, which helped her settle after a busy day at the pool or the beach.
